今天我演讲的主题是“以青春之名，担时代之责”。

党的二十大于10月22日在北京胜利闭幕。同学们，大家心中一定有疑问，党的二十大是什么？有着怎样的重大意义？承担着怎样的使命？参加二十大的代表们，都有哪些任务？今天，我为大家一一解答。

Dear teachers and students：

The topic of my speech is " In the name of youth to bear the responsibility of The Times".

The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was successfully concluded in Beijing on October 22. Students, we must have a question in the mind, What is the 20th National Congress of the Party? What is the significance? What kind of mission does it undertake? What are the tasks for the delegates to the 20th National Congress? Today, I will answer them all for you.

党的二十大指的是中国共产党第二十次全国代表大会，党的代表大会每五年进行一次，由中央委员会召集。

二十大有着怎样的重大意义？

党的二十大是我们党在进入全面建设社会主义现代化国家新征程、向第二个百年奋斗目标进军的关键时刻召开的一次十分重要的大会，是党和国家政治生活中的一件大事。

The 20th Party Congress refers to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which is held every five years and convened by the Central Committee.

What is the significance of the 20th National Congress of the Party?

The 20th National Congress of the CPC is a very important congress held at a critical moment when our Party is on a new journey to fully build a modern socialist country and marching toward the second centenary goal. It is a major event in the political life of the Party and the country.

二十大承担什么样的使命？

二十大承担着总结过去五年的工作，明确今后党和国家前进方向、奋斗目标、行动纲领，选举新一届中央领导集体的重大使命。

二十大会议期间，代表们完成了哪些任务？

大会期间，代表们将听取和审查中央委员会、中央纪律检查委员会的报告，反映广大党员、群众的意见和要求，讨论并决定党的重大问题，选举新一届中央委员会和中央纪律检查委员会。

What mission does the 20th National Congress undertake?

The 20th National Congress is responsible for summarizing the work of the past five years, defining the direction, goals and program of action of the Party and the country for the future, and electing a new central leadership.

What tasks did the delegates accomplish during the 20th National Congress?

During the Congress, deputies will listen to and examine the reports of the CPC Central Committee and the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, reflect the opinions and demands of Party members and the masses, discuss and decide on major issues of the Party, and elect a new CPC Central Committee and the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

会上习近平总书记代表第十九届中央委员会向大会作报告。报告提出了关于”三个务必”、“党的中心任务”“三件大事”五个必由之路”等系列重要论述。深入总结了十八大以来在以习近平同志为核心的党中央坚强领导下，中国共产党带领全国各族人民在实现中华民族伟大复兴历史中写下的恢宏篇章，让人心潮澎湃、热血沸腾。

从1921年党的一大宣告中国共产党正式成立，到2022年党的二十大召开，转眼间，中国共产党已经走过了一百多年的光辉历程。我们何其有幸，生于华夏，作为祖国未来的接班人，我们有幸见证了天宫的神奇，目睹了航母的风采，体验了高铁的速度。我们为生在一个强大的祖国而骄傲、而自豪！

At the meeting, Chairperson Xi made a speech. The report put forward a series of important statements about "three must-haves", "the central task of the Party", "three major events" and "five inevitable roads". Since the 18th CPC National Congress, Strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, the Communist Party of China leads the people of all ethnic groups to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and write a magnificent chapter, which make people feel surging, blood boiling.

From the grand proclamation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in 1921 to the 20th CPC National Congress in 2022, the CPC has gone through a glorious journey of more than 100 years in the blink of an eye. How fortunate we are to be born in China, as the future successors of our motherland, we have the honor to witness the magic of Tiangong, witness the elegant demeanour of aircraft carriers, experience the speed of high-speed rail. We are proud to live in a strong motherland!

百年前，先辈们用血肉之躯守护祖国河山，他们是最可爱的人，如同星光般闪耀。新时代新征程，作为新时代的青少年，对先烈们最好的致敬，就是延续他们的精神，要以中华民族的伟大复兴为己任，坚定爱国爱党的情怀，树立远大的理想，培养良好的品德，发扬创新精神，掌握实践能力，勤奋学习，立志成才，把自己的人生理想与祖国、与时代紧紧联系在一起,让青春与党同行!

One hundred years ago, our ancestors guarded the motherland with flesh and blood, they are the most lovely people, shining like stars. New journey, new era as a new era of youth, the best tribute for the martyrs is the continuation of their spirit, to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation as own duty, steadfast love for the party's feelings, sets up the lofty ideal, to develop good moral character, carries forward the spirit of innovation, to master practical ability, diligent study, aspire to success, the ideal of their own life and the motherland, with the times closely linked together, let the youth and the party counterparts!
