大家上午好！

今天我国旗下演讲的主题是：自省自知明得失，自信自强向未来。

“自省自知”是我们每个人成长过程中必须掌握的重要能力。它是指对自己的行为、思想、情感进行审视和反思，以达到明了得失，调整方向的目的。就像伟大科学家爱因斯坦曾说：“一个人的价值在于他贡献什么，而不是他得到什么。”我们在成长过程中，只有不断地自省，才能真正认识到自己的价值所在，知道自己应该做什么，不应该做什么。

Dear teachers and students: 

Good morning！

The topic of today's speech is: Self reflection and self knowledge of gains and losses,confidence and self-improvement towards the future.

"Self-reflection and self-knowledge" is an important ability that everyone must master during their growth. It refers to examining and reflecting on one's actions, thoughts, and feelings to get about gains and losses and adjust directions. As Einstein, the great scientist once said, "A person's something lies in what he gives instead what he gets." Only by keeping self-reflecting can we truly know us, know what we should do and what we shouldn't do during our growth.


曾经，我也经历过迷茫和困惑。清晰记得我就读初一时，期中作业时数学取得了优秀的成绩，却在英语这门学科上表现平平。我无法理解为什么我努力付出却得不到回报。于是，我开始反思，找出了问题的根源——原来是我没有正确的方法来学习英语。然后我根据自己的情况制定了新的学习计划，并严格执行。最终，我在期末作业中的英语成绩得到了显著提升。

他，我的同桌，看起来不太聪明；知识储备量不到我的一半；之前的成绩远不如我……可为什么这次作业，他，超过了我？有一天，我于是特地翻看他的课堂笔记，才恍然大悟。看不到别人长处的人，总是一眼看到别人不如自己之处，弱小和无知从来不是进步的障碍，傲慢才是。

I once had some worries. Just after this year's mid-term exams, I got excellent results in maths, yet didn’t do well in English. I couldn't understand why my hard work didn't pay off. So, I started to reflect and found the reason - I did not have the right way to learn English. Then I made a new study plan on me and act to do it. Finally, my English improved in the final exams.

This is the power of self-reflection. By examining my gains and losses, I found a way to the problem and changed my life. As Jobs once said, "Your work will take most of your life, and the only way to do great things is to love your work." Therefore, we should keep our love for ourselves and believe that we can do better.


渐渐地，我明白了，我的努力可能不会立刻体现在卷面上，因为其中包含了无数概率性事件，但我所做的一切，至少会给我的成绩一个保障的底线。最满意的结果往往需要最漫长的等待，在此期间，我们要荣辱不惊，闲看这庭前花开花落；以平淡之心，漫随那天外云卷云舒。相信：你做三、四月的事，在八、九月自会有答案。

自省后自知，自信后自强。然而，仅仅有信心还不够。我们必须时刻警醒自己，持续提升自我。因为人生如同一场马拉松比赛，只有坚持到最后的人才能获得胜利。所以我们要勇敢地迎接挑战，不断地充实自我，使自己变得更加优秀。

I would like to talk about "confidence and self-improvement". Confidence is hope, a deep thought that one can certainly get one's goals. With this hope, we can overcome setbacks, fear no difficulties, and walk towards the path of success. Li ja-shing is such a person with strong confidence. He once said: "A person's real success lies in how big his heart is and how high his dream is." His success was not a-sudden but was from his thought in himself, his hope for the future, and the spirit of not giving up he showed in the face of difficulties.

However, having confidence alone is not enough. We must keep reminding ourselves to ourselves all the time improve. Because life is like a long race, only those who keep until the end can win. So we should bravely get trouble, continue to enrich ourselves, and make ourselves better.
